This article brought back memories to me.

When I was a little child and lived in a village, I used to listen to the sounds of frogs during the breeding season in late spring and early summer.

These creatures were so noisy that made you think that the place was under attack!

But this natural music was so lovely, as well.

Nowadays, the heavy use of fertilizers and pesticides has led to contaminated waters, and frogs have literally gone extinct...
