I like the fact that those who are responsible for the operation of Medium managed to identify certain problematic areas and make Medium an even better place to write, read, and be a member of. This is a pleasant outcome, since most owners and administrators of writing websites used to adopt a narrow-minded approach in the past, failing to take into account the current needs of the industry, market, and users. Medium is different.
